Mr. Muthu Subramanian

Mr. Muthu Subramanian is a full time director at VS, has been instrumental in its rise from a single specialty brand to a tertiary care super specialty player across multiple locations and presence in various areas of healthcare delivery. Forging strategic tieups with Industry leaders and facilitating organic growth of the business group, Muthu Subramanian along with his brother Dr. Sundar has helped establish VS as a patient centric brand focusing on affordable healthcare.

An engineering graduate from the illustrious Annamalai University, Muthu Subramanian went on to complete his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Wichita State University, USA. On graduation with honors, he joined as a Senior Solutions Architect with Demantra Inc (later part of Oracle Inc) In this role of a business analyst he had the opportunity of being part of various diverse industries like FMCG, Healthcare, Media, Fashion to name a few.

Working with some of the biggest brands in the world like Johnson & Johnson, Fox Studios, Baxter, Unilever and Wendys gave him the much needed exposure to the intricacies of the different businesses which would come in very handy while making vital decisions in his leadership role at VS subsequently.

Muthu Subramanian has a passion for entrepreneurship and works with youngsters in several entrepreneurship forums. He believes it is mutually beneficial. While Muthu Subramanian is able to mentor the youngsters, it also helps him stay connected with Gen Next. 

His people centricity and ability to lead from behind are key attributes to his success. His ambition is to fulfil the Chairman’s vision of making VS a healthcare brand to reckon with in this part of the world.
