Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali

Dr. Mohammed Ali is a Gastroenterologist in Chennai, with over three decades of experience in medical practice and teaching. He was Professor and Head of the Medical Gastroenterology Department at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital and 1st Director institute of Medical Gastroenterology at MMC.

He has the privilege to train more than 50 DM Gastro Post-Graduates. Served as Secretary and President of Indian Society of Gastroenterology. He also is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endotherapist, currently attached to Billroth Hospitals located at Shenoy Nagar and VS Hospitals located at Kilpauk.

Dr. Mohammed Ali has presented several Papers at National & International Conferences, some of which have been published in reputed journals. He was President of the Tamil Nadu Chapter of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Member of the Government’s Department of Science & Technology (New Delhi), and an Inspector for the Medical Council of India.

He is the Trustee of Tamilnadu Gastroenterology Trust
