Dr. K. Meena

Dr. K. Meena is an accomplished Consultant Medical Oncologist newly affiliated with VS Hospitals. With an impressive academic background, Dr. Meena completed her MBBS in 2012, earning first-class honors and securing gold medals in Microbiology and Social and Preventive Medicine. She furthered her expertise with an MD in General Medicine, completed in 2018, followed by a specialized DM in Medical Oncology in 2023. Dr. Meena’s commitment to her field is evident from her role as a Senior Resident at Vijaya Group of Hospitals in Chennai and her recent attainment of ESMO certification in October 2023.

A distinguished presence in the oncology community, Dr. Meena has been recognized for her academic excellence and research contributions. Notably, she received the Best Poster Award at APICON 2017 for her work on “A case of Fanconi Anemia without anemia” and clinched the first prize in a Quiz competition at ISMPO-ISOCON 2022 in Chennai. Her scholarly activities include impactful presentations on topics such as Cholangiocarcinoma, recurrent Neuroendocrine tumors of the liver, and the prognostic significance of PD-L1 in Head and Neck squamous cell cancers, presented at notable conferences including ISMPOCON and ICC in 2023.
