Dr. K. C. Jyothish

Dr. K. C. Jyothish is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist currently associated with VS Hospitals. He holds an M.D. in Radiation Oncology from Madras Medical College, obtained between 2017 and 2020, and an MBBS from Nanjing Medical University, China.

Dr. Jyothish has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing various oncological cases and emergencies, honed through his tenure as an Assistant Professor in the Radiation Oncology Department at Madras Medical College since June 2022. Prior to this, he served in the same capacity at Government Royapettah Hospital from June 2021 to May 2022.

His academic contributions include presenting award-winning research on photobiomodulation and its effects on radiation mucositis in head and neck cancers, which earned him the Best Paper Award at AROICON 2020. Additionally, he has presented significant findings on the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio in head and neck cancers and the psychological impact of radiation therapy on cancer patients.
