Dr. S. Nithya is an Oncologist currently associated with VS Hospitals, Chennai. She specializes in Medical and Pediatric Oncology and also has a special interest in Hemato Oncology. She has a keen eye for novel therapies including immunotherapy and molecular targeted therapies and like to apply her clinical Knowledge wherever possible. She has been part of many investigative trails and has many publications till date.
She likes to keep herself updated with the help of medical journals and continuing medical education programs to add to her list of achievements. Dr. Nithya was awarded with the Dr. Jayaraj Ayyandar Gold Medal for Pediatrics in 2004, and Prof. K Ramachandra Endowment Gold Medal for Medical Oncology in 2012.
